Mughal emperor Shah Jehan (ruled 1627-1658). He was so sad when his wife Mumtaz Mahal died giving birth to their 14th child that he built a lovely tomb for her, called the Taj Mahal. It is made of pure white marble decorated with gold and semiprecious stones.
