Monkeys range vastly in size. The smallest is the tiny pygmy marmoset, which weighs approximately 5 oz (150 g); the largest is the mountain gorilla - males can stand up to 7 feet (2.1 metres) tall and weigh over 500 lb (225 kg). There are monkeys of all sizes in between these extremes.
