The biggest, the steller sea lion, is about 90 in (230 cm) long and weighs as much as 2,200 lb (1,000 kg). Females are much smaller and weigh only about 595 lb (270 kg). The smallest is probably the Galapagos fur seal, which weighs only about 140 lb (64 kg).
