The ringed seal is one of the smallest seals. The male grows to about 4.5 ft (1.4 meters) long and weighs up to 198 lb (90 kg), although some are only 110 lb (50 kg). Females are slightly smaller than males. Ringed seals live in Arctic waters and eat fish and shellfish.
