How do gibbons swing so fast?
Gibbons have arms that are longer than their bodies. This helps them to swing very fast through the trees. With its huge armspan, a gibbon can swing about 32 feet (10 metres), from one branch to another in one go, gripping the branches with its long fingers. Gibbons live in the rainforests of South-east Asia.
