Leeches live in rainforests all over the world. They gorge themselves on blood, from animals and humans! They have suckers at either end of their bodies for clinging on to their prey. After they have fastened themselves to their victim, they make a cut in its flesh with their strong, sharp teeth, and start to feed. A leech can drink several times its own weight in blood in one meal.
